Starch, 3 napkins and ... In an hour you will have a real masterpiece on your table!

Recently, my needlewoman friend told me about one amazing way to decorate eggs. Save this magical way , it will come in handy.

Decoupage eggs

For decoupage, you can take both boiled and raw eggs. It is best to choose white eggsto make it easier to paint over the surface.

You will need:

  • boiled eggs ( white)
  • 2 tsp starch
  • water
  • tassel
  • napkins for decoupage
  • food coloring ( gold , silver)

Progress

Take napkins with a small pattern. Remove the two bottom layers from the napkin - you won't need them , and cut out small blanks of flowers from the colored layer.

Start distributing motifs over the surface of the egg with a brush and water. It is very important to try to smooth out all the wrinkles.

Now we turn to the preparation of starch paste. I used corn starch , but you can also use potato starch.

In a small container, mix starch and 50 g of water , put this mixture on a slow fire and heat for a minute. Periodically stir the future paste with a teaspoon.

After all the motifs are distributed , coat the egg well with a paste and leave to dry. Instead of starch, you can use whipped protein.
