Proper foot care at home

In summer, feet need special care and attention. Most often due to the fact that you wear open shoes or even go barefoot occasionally , the skin on your feet can become rough. If you want to always look great , have well-groomed legs with delicate skin , you should carry out a procedure that will help get rid of keratinized areas.

Required:

  • 4-5 liters of water,
  • 30 ml thyme oil.

Method of preparation and use.

  1. Add thyme oil to hot water , soak your feet for a while in warm water with aromatic oil. This composition will help the keratinized areas of the skin to soften.
  2. After 10 minutes, rub the keratinized areas with an ordinary pumice stone.
  3. Massage your feet after the bath.
    For massage you will need 5 ml of sage oil. Such a massage , performed regularly , will help you prevent rough skin. Biologically active substances contained in this oil will effectively affect the keratinized areas of the skin on the sole.

Foot care

Moisturizing and nourishing the skin of the feet will make them tender , soft and relieve a lot of troubles ( smell , peeling). Use any flower oil. Required:

  • 5 ml orange oil
  • 3 ml lemon oil.

Mix the oils and rub this mixture into the skin of the feet in a circular motion.

Swelling of the legs

When the legs swell and get tired quickly , a bath with cool water and aromatic oil will help.

Required:

  • 5-7 liters of water , 5 ml of lemon oil,
  • 3 ml of cypress oil.
  • Instead of cypress oil, you can use pine or any tree oil.

Method of preparation and use.

  1. Dissolve lemon oil and cypress oil in hot water.
  2. Dip your feet in the solution and keep them there for 15 minutes.
  3. , be sure to rub your feet using lemon balm oil , and lie down for a few minutes , leaning your feet against the wall.

cracks

For many, dry , rough skin of the legs ( feet) may develop cracks. They are quite painful and unaesthetic. If you massage your feet every time after a bath or sauna , rubbing sage oil into them , even chapped skin will become healthy , smooth and silky. But such a massage should be carried out for at least 5-7 minutes , carefully rubbing the oil into the skin.

Flaky skin on legs

In the event that the skin of the feet is not only cracked , but also flaky , you need to make a special foot mask.

Required:

  • 20 g fat nourishing foot cream,
  • 10 ml chamomile oil,
  • 5 ml rosemary oil.

Method of preparation and use.

Mix the cream with oils and apply the resulting healing mixture on steamed legs , wrap the feet with polyethylene. Wrap a towel over the top. Leave the mask on your feet for 30-40 minutes.

Similarly, you can make another mask that will affect the skin of the feet , softening it , nourishing , eliminating cracks and calluses. In addition , the use of such a foot mask can even get rid of such a nuisance as a “heel spur”.

Required:

  • 40 g honey
  • 3 tsp flour,
  • 10 ml lemon oil
  • 5 ml lavender oil.

Method of preparation and use.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and apply the resulting mixture on the steamed skin of the feet , wrap the legs with polyethylene. Wrap a towel over the top. Leave this mask on your feet for 30-40 minutes.

To soften and moisturize the skin , you can use another recipe.
