Flatbread is a great substitute for bread. Every cuisine in the world has its own version. Try the simple cheese tortillas , which take no more than ten minutes to prepare.
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp salt
- 200 ml kefir
- 320 g flour
- 1 tsp with a slide of baking powder
- 1 st. l. vegetable oil
- grated cheese
Recipe
Beat the egg into a bowl , add salt and kefir. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
In a separate bowl, sift 320 grams of flour , add the baking powder and mix.
Pour in the kefir mixture and start kneading the dough. Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil.
Dust the table with flour. Roll out the dough into a thin cake.
As a filling, add grated cheese on a coarse grater. Roll up the dough.
Cut it into small pieces.
Flatten the resulting pieces slightly on a floured table. Or roll out with a rolling pin. The second option will be more crispy.
Fry the tortillas in a pan in vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry for a couple of minutes on each side.
