How to work on strengthening the CIRCULAR MUSCLE of the eye? There is a simple and effective exercise to open sunken eyes. It will only take 3 minutes to complete.
Throughout the time , while we are awake and engaged in any activity , the circular muscle of the eye "works" in the radial direction , inwards.
It seems to curl up into a kind of tube. This process can be compared to the operation of the diaphragm of a camera. There is an exercise to strengthen the circular muscle of the eye. We strengthen the circular muscle of the eye.
- Get into starting position:
- Sitting ( or standing), the shoulders are relaxed and lowered. The base of the skull is directed and stretches upward. The face should be as if stretched ( the muscles of the forehead , temporal muscles , occipital muscle are stretched) and opened in the direction of the back of the head.
- Place your thumbs on the lower edge of the eye socket. Index fingers should be located above the eyebrows ( as if you were looking through binoculars). It is necessary to lay the fingers so that there is no gap between them and the face ( the tightest possible touch). Outwardly, it resembles glasses.
- With a very light movement, stretch the skin by no more than 2 mm ( !). Fix a point in front of you at eye level , straight.
Performing an exercise.
- Open your eyes as much as possible ( so that the proteins above the iris become visible) and stay in this position for 5 seconds.
- Relax your muscles.
- Repeat the exercise at least 8 times. Finish with palming ( cover your closed eyes with your palms , sending heat in their direction from the center of the palms.
Note!
- The exercise should be done slowly.
- Efforts must be directed from the center of the pupil to the edge ( radially).
- Do not bulge your eyes , but simply open them , thereby training and strengthening the circular muscle of the eye.
- Make sure that when performing this exercise, the forehead does not wrinkle , eyebrows are not raised , teeth are not clenched - the whole face is relaxed.
- No need to stretch the skin too much. The fingers just help the muscle a little.
- After the exercise, you may feel a cloudy image. This is normal and will pass soon.
The orbicular muscle does not directly affect the loss of youthfulness of the eyes.
This muscle only “reacts” to age-related changes in such peripheral structures as:
- temporal muscles
- chewing and zygomatic muscles
- bone structures
- subcutaneous layer,
which narrow and deform the eye orbit.
