An ordinary knitted sweater without frills is easy to make elegant. A basic monophonic classic will immediately turn into a fashionable and stylish thing, and all this at a minimum cost and no cutting skills. And it will take quite a bit of time for this and a small piece of stretch guipure or mesh with a pattern , the colors of which are combined with knitted fabric.
We select a suitable fabric in an amount sufficient to replace the sleeves.
Turn the sweater inside out and carefully cut off the sleeves.
Cut off the cuffs.
Carefully cut the sleeves along the seams.
We lay out the sleeves on a transparent fabric. Adjust the drawing if necessary.
We connect the sleeves to the fabric with tailor pins , and then cut the fabric , making indents for allowances.
We disconnect the transparent sleeves from the knitted ones that have become unnecessary.
Now we work with each sleeve separately. Turning the sleeve inside out , we make a longitudinal seam.
Before sewing cuffs to the sleeve , carefully close the loops. Having collected the sleeve completely , turn the sweater inside out and sew the sleeves along the armhole.
